'Can I ask someone at i:protect about the type of insurance I should buy?'
Through the Wessex Group, i:protect are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority to sell insurance, but not to offer you advice regarding the cover to meet your needs as an individual. We give you comprehensive information about our products on our website, a buyer's guide and customer feedback, however you alone must decide what cover you want to buy.
'I have looked at the information on your website but I would prefer someone to help me to choose'
We suggest you seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) who usually charge a fee or contact a specialist insurance broker authorised by the FSA to offer an advised sale. However they would probably offer you an alternative product as i:protect do not sell through commission paid intermediaries.
'Your system indicates that my application has been declined, can I speak to someone about this?'
Yes certainly, but please do not telephone the Website Helpline number above as the staff there will be unable to assist you. We strongly recommend that you click on the Contact Us tab above and outline brief details in an email. Please commence the top line of your message "For the Attention of the Customer Service Manager." It helps us to respond quickly if you could confirm your name, plus the date and approximate time you submitted your application. Naturally we will reply by email or letter if you prefer, please let us know your preferred telephone number and when you would like us to call you.
